Who is IFCS?

Insite For Community Safety is an initiative of the PHS Community Services Society which co-manages InSite, North America's only Supervised Injection Facility, and whose purpose is to act as an umbrella for individuals and groups across the political spectrum who do not usually work together, but are united now to build a comprehensive, made-in-Canada drug strategy.

What is InSite?

Opened on September 21, 2003, Insite is the first supervised injection facility in North America. Insite is a clean, safe environment where users can inject their own drugs off the streets and under the supervision of nurses. Learn more
